I strive to give work that not only is the artist proud of, but the buyer can be proud of as well.
If a refund is requested against the artist without the artist knowing (or otherwise discussed), the buyer will lose all rights to the work the artist created (including prior works) and the buyer is not allowed to commission again unless the artist otherwise states.

Disclaimer
The artist does not own anything within the requested art other that the price itself. If artwork components are stolen the artist will pull the work down and notify/flag the buyer so it does not happen again. It is the buyer’s responsibility to get approval to use other’s characters. The artist is not responsible for the theft.
